When Can I Just Relax?

So I took off Monday and Tuesday of this week and my Mom decided maybe if she came down we could get some wedding stuff done. Boy did we ever! We ran around all over town Sunday and Money. I had never shopped so much in all my life. My legs hurt, my butt hurt! I couldn't walk another step by the time I got home.

We got the Tuxes done for the guys, and we got the catering done for the wedding dinner (after we drove to every end of town, to get catering menus from 3 BBQ places). We started picking out some table clothes etc. We had so much fun together. Everytime I get to spend that much time with my Mom it makes me wish so bad she would move down here with me :)

I think this picture pretty much sums up how I feel. I am still trying to capture my weight loss goal. Before I even begin to look at dresses I want to lose more weight.

What Am I Gunna Do With Myself?

Yesterday I started getting this sharp pain in the ball of my wrist. If I touch it it just is this stabbing pain. So I asked a few people and they all came back with the same response, carpal tunnel syndrome. GREAT! I've worked in an office job for 7+ years - sitting at a desk with a keyboard. I guess I didn't think things like this would happen to "someone my age" - but what's my age anyways. I have gotten to a point in my life where I have to stop and think of how old I am. I have take the current year, 2009 minus the year I was born. To figure out how old I am going to be. It's pretty sad. I miss bragging about being 21, or 22, hell even 23 or 24. What happened to those years? I met Matt when I was 18, and now I'm going to be 27? Wow. And Matt.... Matt will be 30. I can't believe it. It's amazing how fast the time goes. Or how fast carpal tunnel can form..



I just wanted to type a quick hello. I haven't forgotten about my blog or anyone else's blog. I just have no energy when I get off work these days. But that is ok, I have a 4 day weekend starting tonight. And I plan to catch up on all my house work and relax! Maybe rest my wrist too :)

With This Ring...

So it has been six months since we bought my engagement ring. And it was time to take it in for it's six month cleaning - to keep up on our warrenty etc. So Friday night Matt and I drove over to the mall and went to have it cleaned. While we were waiting we figured we mides well look at wedding bands for him. They were having a good Valentine's Day sale, so we thought why not.

Matt tried on a couple rings. And he kept coming back to the first one he tried on. He kept saying "This one is me."



It is made of Tungsten, which is harder than gold. Which will be good for while Matt is working. So we ordered it in his size. He said he's going to start wearing it right away :) hehe.
